Pure lime blossom on the nose. The fruit is rich and round with characters of apricot and peach with a limy cut. An ample style with classy, mouthfilling fruit showing notes of the exotic – some slaty minerality too. This level of ripeness is seldom commented on in a Rheingau spätlese, such is the vintage. Fine quality with a persistent lingering finish.
