Wet stone, iodine, kernel and grapefruit pith vie alongside one another where the backbone of acidity is simply breathtaking. This is an incredibly concentrated, intensely structured Savennières from the superlative 2010 vintage. Chenin Blanc is a variety that is often overlooked – but for those in the know, there can hardly be a better, more age-worthy white wine.
