La Rosine is a bottling of pure Syrah from granitic vineyards located just outside the appellation, but between Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. It is a delicious cuvée that exhibits real finesse and elegance. Representing the very best of this grape variety, with notes of crushed dark berries, pepper, subtle oak and a hint of graphite. The tannins are fine and taut, but approachable. Whilst too tempting to drink this now, it will continue to please for a good decade. Outstanding value from this top producer.
