2001 Séguret Grande Réserve, Domaine de Mourchon
We have become used to the impressive depth achieved at this domaine, and the 2001 is no exception. In fact this exhibits an almost opaque colour with a richly spiced cocoa aroma. In its reserve cuvée Domaine de Mourchon has produced a firmly-structured wine with rewarding weight of fruit that will mellow beautifully after a period of cellaring. A classic Rhône blend of 50% Syrah and 50% Grenache.
