2011 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, Domaine de Montille
Open and expressive on the nose, this has notes of orchard fruit and hints of spice and cream. The palate is fresh and appealing, with crunchy apple, sweet blossom and smoky oak. Layered in style, with a fine, mineral backbone and a gunflint finish. A feminine and reined-in style of Corton-Charlemagne and very attractive.
