2008 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes, Etienne Sauzet
This is a deliciously layered wine, with a creamy nature to ripe, scented citrus fruit, as well as a touch of plum, greengage and pear-like characters. Finely-tuned and very complete, this has a restrained mineral grip, a phenolic touch and a superbly long finish.
