This, from the top plot within the commune of Pernand-Vergelesses, excelled in 2017. It’s chalky and delicate, with dark fruit, flowers, and beautifully refined tannins. With good length and depth of flavour, it's quite a well-balanced example of the freshness and fruit that this terroir can produce, all with lovely tannins.
