Rightly considered one of the very best plots within the hill of Corton thanks to an excellent exposition, Perrières delivers a wine that is fragrant with crushed red fruit, wild strawberry and a leafy freshness on the nose. On the palate it is a true Corton – full-bodied, voluminous with a huge tannin and acid structure and a muscular, powerful finish. This is a wine that truly deserves (and requires) to be aged; this is one for the patient wine–lover.
