2009 Nuits St-Georges Les Poisets, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux
Made from the fruit of old vines, this had a complex nose of red berry fruit and spice. The tannins were structural, but fine and ripe, veiled by a rich fruit core of summer berries. A well-balanced wine, with seemingly all the components in harmony.
