Barthod have 0.75 ha of Les Cras, which in Chambolle terms is a large holding. Poor soil and old vines give a vibrant wine with bramble fruit on the nose. The palate has a rich texture,cherry stone fruit, ripe tannic structure and terrific energy. A great effort that as ever will cellar wonderfully well.
