Another property managed by the Château Lafite-Rothschild team, Château l'Evangile has been one of the top three wines in Pomerol for the last few vintages. A blend of 94% merlot and 6% Cabernet franc, the Grand Vin represents 73% of the production. 2011 is another excellent example of this incredible property, with its beautifully silky, juicy texture, rich and dark cherry fruit core and tight tannic structure, peppered with hints of Christmas cake spices.
