Made from a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon and 49% Merlot, this is an open and expressive wine, with a glossy, approachable dark fruit nature. On the palate the fine, ripe tannins give this a powerful and full-bodied nature but, when combined with the freshness of this vintage, they make this a stylistically very well-balanced example. Very long on the finish, but fruit- rather than tannin-driven.
