The standing of this property seems to be enhanced with every vintage – it is fair to expect great things from a Château situated as it is: on the plâteau, between Petrus and Certan de May. Fragrant and appealing stone-fruit on the nose, with a perfumed accent. This is lush and velvety on the palate, with pleasing density, elegant and fresh. This is a very attractive Pomerol on account of fine-grained tannins, which create an elegant, sophisticated style. Ample, soft dark cherry and plum fruit, and almost a redcurrant twist of acidity lifting the palate and leading to a lovely persistence on the finish.
