Pascal thinks 2022 might just be the best Frémiets they have ever made. It is packed with concentrated red currant energy. It is opulent and deep, with the tension across the palate to give it a staggeringly long finish. This should be beautiful in a few years.
Only available in bond
This vineyard is worked by horse. 20% whole bunch vinification, 30% new wood. Dark purple with a little reduction. There is fine potential here too, in a liquid dark raspberry style, long on the palate, some sun dried cherries, but without the alcohol and excess of 2020. Good wine. Drink from 2029-2036. Tasted: December 2023.
