Fixin, immediately north of Gevrey-Chambertin, is certainly a village which doesn’t receive the attention it deserves. Indeed, this vineyard is next door to the Clos de la Perrière, which was touted in the 19th century as equal to Chambertin. Serious concentration, and intensity and nice integration of acidity, fine and silky.
