Absolutely loaded with rich sweet cassis, with lovely subtle cedar and coffee nuances. The tannin levels are actually higher than last year, but they are so fine, and the fruit so pure, that they are almost imperceivable. Following on from the 2009's perfect Parker score, the 2011 wine continues to show the great strides in quality that Leoville Poyferré have made. Fresh, harmonious, polished and seductive.
