The left bank of Bordeaux contains perhaps the most dazzling selection of famous properties and sub-regions in the world of wine. Coveted for hundreds of years by wine lovers, the vineyards are some of the most expensive pieces of land in the world due to their unique terroir and the fantastic quality of wine that they regularly produce.
We will be tasting two wines each from the five most famous communes on the left bank of Bordeaux. We have some fabulous classed growth Châteaux from great vintages going back to 1995 as well as a number of second wines from the already legendary 2009 vintage.

• 1996 Château Haut-Bailly, Cru Classé Pessac-Léognan
