2012 Quinta de Vargellas, Taylor's

Quinta de Vargellas is the jewel in Taylor’s crown, forming the majority of their vintage port in a declared vintage. The 2012 is a wonderfully perfumed and heady wine, with abundant floral aromas that are so characteristic of this Quinta. With lean, wiry tannins offering grip, the touch of warmth on the palate is wonderfully balanced by cool, fresh acidity. Indeed, it is this harmony of elements which makes this port so alluring.
