Following our blind tasting the tasting panel universally selected Niepoort’s Secundum, from the dynamic and charismatic Dirk Niepoort, as their preferred wine. Not in fact a second label, but a special selection from this revitalised house. This is wonderful, with a rich opaque colour and a beautifully-concentrated spiced fruit nose. The wine’s exceptional intensity finishes very harmoniously with a lovely sweet persistence of flavours. An outstanding wine.
