Sacristia AB Manzanilla, Antonio Barbadillo Mateo
The Sacristía Manzanilla is a wine selected and bottled by one of the great names of sherry, Antonio Barbadillo Mateo. From a great sherry-making family, Antonio describes his upbringing as being one in which "the cellar was [his] playroom". He began the Sacristía project in 2010, tasting wines from various different wineries, the aim being to create a range of sherries based on his own personal preferences: "These are my own personal choices... I want to bring hidden treasures to light". The AB Manzanilla is the first of these treasures.
