Trimbach Mixed Case: 6 Top Wines from the Outstanding 2007 Vintage (6 bottles)
The great Trimbach wines of Riesling Cuvée Frédéric Emile and Clos Ste Hune are usually released after five years of bottle ageing in their cellars and this year therefore sees the launch of the 2007 vintage, a “miracle” vintage in Alsace that has created deliciously pure and long-lived wines.
To celebrate this vintage, the family has put together a “prestige case” of six of their wines, including the two most sought-after bottles. This is the perfect opportunity to try the very finest wines from one of Alsace’s most esteemed producers and from this excellent vintage.
The case includes one bottle of each of the following:
• 2007 Pinot Gris, Réserve Personelle (18/20 points Jancis Robinson; 93 points Wine Advocate)
• 2007 Gewürztraminer Cuvée des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre (93 points Wine Advocate)
• 2007 Gewürztraminer Vendanges Tardives (18.5/20 points Jancis Robinson; 94 points Wine Advocate)
• 2007 Gewürztraminer Sélection de Grains Noble (19/20 points Jancis Robinson; 96 points Wine Advocate)
