This is comprised of 97% Semillon from plots planted in 1902, 1936 and 1942 along with 3% of Muscat d'Alexandrie which was planted in 1902 - seriously old vines. There are subtle citrus, jasmine and fennel notes on the nose. White grapefruit pith and lemongrass follow on the palate and there are fine floral and subtle spiced aromas. The palate is bright and fresh, showing a hint of richness and lemon oil texture. With a little air comes more complexity of cardamom and a lift of white flowers on the finish. Really long and complete.
