From the Mullineux’s own vineyard on the Paardeberg, this has a breadth and density. There’s extra phenolic intensity here, from the thicker skins, and that brings a grippiness and a more yellow fruited character. More intense.
Planted on the contours of the beautiful Roundstone property in 2014, this is more approachable than its sister Granite Chenin Blanc, this is a rich, dense, pear, nectarine and yellow apple-fruited white with understated older wood, a nip of tannin and fresh supporting acidity. 2023-28
