Lovely texture on this Chenin Blanc, one of the best in South Africa today, from an old vine parcel. Notes of crunchy apples and also some spice, with such drive and focus on the palate. Brilliant.

Tasting notes

Yields were tiny here in 2018, with only 880 bottles produced from this two-hectare site. Planted in 1960 on what is a high-altitude site for Paarl, it's a taut, laser-like Chenin Blanc with incredible focus and precision, oatmeal and citrus fruit, a hint of oak and a saline finish.
