A blend of what they like the most in the cellar. Early block Verdelho, Piekenierskloof Palomino, Chenin Voor Paardeberg. And a bunch of random other stuff, Harsevelu, Gewurz, and stuff. Lovely length, and purity and good length – doesn’t want chenin driven.

The conscious part of Pieter Walser's highly original brain thinks that this was the best blend of white grapes in the cellar in 2018, combining Verdelho, Palomino, Riesling, Chenin, Crouchen and Hárslevelü. Aniseed, pepper spice and wet stone flavours are complemented by notes of peach and creamy lees.
