From a single parcel in the north of Elgin, this is very savoury, delicate, and there's a lot of finesse to the tannic structure. There's a lot of plum fruit, with notes of iodine and white pepper, and there's also a floral top note. The shale brings a little more breadth, but this remains a delicate and elegant Syrah.
