Sandhi, the brand created by Sashi Moorman and Raj Parr, is spectacular in 2021. It's made from vineyard fruit of the famed Domaine de la Côte estate, revered worldwide for its brilliant Pinot, as well as the Sanford & Benedict vineyard, another revered name amongst fans of top Pinot. This really excels and is a perfect representation of the Santa Rita Hills and its diverse soils. There's ripe black cherry, gentle baking spice aromas, lavender and earthy notes. There's some herbal freshness providing a refreshing element, cutting through the intensity of flavour on the palate. Silky in texture, this builds to a rich, complex finish.
