This vineyard is named after David Lett's father and planted in 1988 with Pommard and Wadenswil clones. It is a directly south facing site that gives the resulting wines a silky texture with great depth and finesse. There are flavours of blue fruits, lavender, violets and liqourice root, which flow across the palate. There is a subtle white pepper spice here that accents the hedgerow fruit with a energy that runs through the long, refreshing finish.
