2019 Sisters Chardonnay, Lingua Franca, Eola-Amity Hills

Lingua Franca is the project started by Master Sommelier Larry Stone, with the help of winemakers Thomas Savre and Dominique Lafon. The 2019s might be the finest set of wines they've produced yet. This is their finest Chardonnay, sourced from a combination of estate vineyards and a certified biodynamic vineyard in the Van Duzer Corridor that is planted on calcareous marine sediments. They use 18% new oak in the maturation, and the resulting wine is lithe, fresh and sappy with mineral notes and ripe peach, apricot and apple fruit. Steely and bright, this is a brilliant Chardonnay.
