2024 Coddington Chardonnay, Kumeu River, Kumeu

Always the ripest and richest of the Chardonnays and from 2006 became a single vineyard wine. In 2024 the Coddington vineyard was the lowest yielding of all of Kumeu vineyards. The extra concentration and texture add a little toast on the nose with ripe fleshy apricot and stone fruit. Generous butterscotch and acacia note there is breath on the palate yet a vibrant line of acidity running through. A delicious and intense Coddington.
