Founded in 1961, Villa Maria is one of New Zealand’s most loved producers. And Ngakirikiri is the producer’s flagship red. It’s a rich, soft and purple-fruited Cabernet, sourced from the lauded Gimblett Gravels district of Hawke’s Bay. In the 2020, there's ripe cassis and plum, with graphite, slate, cigar box and a herbal lift. Just the fifth vintage released, Ngakirikiri is already in the upper echelon of New Zealand reds. Silky, savoury, and utterly delicious.
