This is Kumeu River's benchmark Pinot Noir, a wine reminiscent of the great wines of Burgundy, and it comes from a single vineyard on the Kumeu River estate. They began planting Pinot here in 1994, using Burgundy clones to ensure the highest quality possible. The 2019 is beautiful, with spice, energy, and a long finish.
