2012 Riesling, Kusuda Wines, Martinborough
Brightly appealing, with lime and subtle notes of crushed green leaves and spice on the nose. The palate has great depth and concentration, with notes of preserved lemons and a hint of gentle spring florality. A bright vein of very pure citrus acidity runs throughout, giving poise and backbone to this incredibly pretty wine. Elegant and precise, there is nothing in excess or out of balance here. Near perfect new world riesling.
