Polish Hill is an eight hectare vineyard at 460m above sea level and one of the coolest spots in the Clare Valley. Here the grapes are tiny with thick skins, adding structure to the wine. Thanks to a cool season and biodynamic farming Jeff Grosset proclaims the 2024 as the most pristine fruit he has seen since he first planted in the early 1980s. Racy with crystaline acidity, it then broadens on the palate with complex and concentrated layers of saline minerality, spice, green apple fruit and citrus flavours. The finish is structured, linear and very, very long. A Grosset Riesling for the ages.
