2022 Single Vineyard Chardonnay, Yabby Lake, Mornington Peninsula

2022 saw a big storm destroy over two thirds of the production at Yabby Lake, leaving the resulting crop beautifully concentrated. The single vineyard Chardonnay is zippy and fresh, with flinty notes on the nose. On the palate there's lots of juicy grapefruit, some and pithy, phenolic texture. It's a great combination of juicy, sunny fruit and minerally elegance and lift.
