A Shiraz that neatly fits in-between the classic regional styles of Bin 28 and Bin 128, Marananga is located in the heart of the Barossa Valley and this represents a modern approach to a classic Australian style. Matured in a combination of both large French and American hogshead barrels, the cooler vintage conditions have resulted in an aromatically complex nose with violet floral notes allied to toasty currants and blueberries. The palate is impressively structured with lashings of spicy black fruit and dark chocolate. This is a great halfway house between the Bin 28 and the Bin 128.
