A change in character from vintages of the 1990s is the more fruit-driven nature with less oak influence than their predecessors. 2006 Louis is a wine with a broad array of vanilla-enhanced fruit. A Semillon with a gorgeous, seductive texture and a long, elegant finish. Most definitely a wine with ageing potential.
