Hedele are based in west Slovenia, bordering Italy and agronomist and winemaker Andrea Pittana is leading the way in bringing attention to this high quality region that is dominated by ponca soils, similar to those found in the Friuli region. Expect citrus, herbs and hints of grassy notes with a linear core and nervy acidity. So wonderfully pure and saline.
