1999 Barolo, Falletto di Serralunga, Bruno Giacosa, Piedmont

Attractive and perfumed on the nose, with nuances of white flowers and white pepper. On the palate it is rich and ripe, with raspberry and cherry notes, as well as a hint of wild water mint on the finish. There is a subtle graphite minerality here too. Very good indeed.
