The 2021 Tignanello stands up there alongside some of the best recent vintages of Tignanello, including the 2016 and 2013. There is both power and freshness here with notes of red berry fruits, violets, cedar and sandalwood spice as well as a fine note of liquorice root. The fruit is seamless and very finely detailed with very finely woven tannins. Really expressive and expansive on the palate this is a brilliant Tignanello.
