It opens with aromas of dark cherry and wild berries, complemented by nuances of spice and wet stone. The palate is elegant and well-defined, where a lively acidity is balanced by substantial, velvety tannins. Its persistent, textured finish reveals notes of anise and a refreshing citrus lift. Possessing an underlying power and structure, it promises exceptional aging potential, yet offers plenty of pleasure even in its youth.
