2017 Roero Arneis, Vigne Sparse, Giovanni Almondo

Although it was only bottled a couple of days ago, the Vigne Sparse from Almondo is already so open and juicy. There's notes of pear skin and a mouthwatering, saline finish. With energy and purity, this is a benchmark Arneis. Unfortunately in 2017 30% less than usual was produced, because of the drought.
