First vintage of this vineyard was 2003: there’s 1.5ha and around 8,000 bottles produced. 500m of altitude gives freshness, while the vineyard faces south, bringing depth. There’s a sweet and sour character, here. Nicely judged tannins. Plenty of them, so give this a year or so, but there’s plenty of energy, too. Balsamic and Mediterranean herbs, and a touch of terra cotta. Pretty long and floral and good energy. Needs plenty of time, but there’s lots here to be liked.
