Sadly this is the last vintage of this wine as Giacosa’s 50 year contract to buy fruit has come to an end. So this is a historic wine made by the returning ‘genius of Neive’ winemaker Dante Scaglione. A beautiful wine with waves of almond kernel, raspberry and fine grained tannin, so long and such definition a great expression of Albesani.
