A small vineyard of 1.83 hectares that forms an amphitheatre, the Pajè is one of our favourite Barbarescos. The proximity to the river valley manages to mitigate extremes of temperature, meaning that this is a supremely well balanced wine. 2011 is a charming vintage: approachable younger, it will provide delicious drinking for many years.
