Winemaker Manfred Ing describes 2010 as “a shy vintage”. This Chianti Classico is smooth and svelte; concentrated pure red cherry and ripe strawberry scents immediately evident. The palate is crisp and poised, with crunchy berry fruit and subtle herbal spices. The tannins are grippy and there is excellent freshness, leading to a long and floral finish and a gentle and elegant texture. Brilliant.
