Made entirely from Sangiovese, this is a step up in concentration from the Chianti Classico with more fruit, oak-smoke, cedar and tobacco. Receiving less new oak than that of the Coltassala, the wine maintains a lifted and elegant character, and we get to see oenologist consultant Maurizo Castelli’s influence, with purity of fruit supporting a delightfully herbal style.
