2010 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Nocio dei Boscarelli, Tuscany

Vinified in 20hl botti, with some tonneau used for ageing, this wine shows an incredibly appealing use of oak. With a delightful
nose of pure, wild fruit and an excellent palate with very well integrated tannins and a beautiful freshness, this is a fantastically balanced wine with every constituent part delightfully controlled.

Poderi Boscarelli - Famiglia De Ferrari Corradi

Boscarelli is a tiny estate, which gives the family total control over every part, and means they’ve been able to create wines of real individual character. Owner Luca works alongside celebrated winemaking consultant Maurizio Castelli, and his brother Nicolo is responsible for the vineyards. Nicolo, who lives on site, is hugely charismatic, and every time we meet him his facial hair has changed. What remains constant however is the quality of the wines from one of Montepulciano’s greatest names.
