2010 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva, Boscarelli, Tuscany

2010 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva, Boscarelli, Tuscany

A classic Vino Nobile, made entirely from Sangiovese, this offering shows lovely coolness on the nose and on the palate. Some notes of graphite come through in the mouth, with freshness and texture in abundance. Alongside a pleasantly full body, the wine maintains its elegance and should provide enjoyment for plenty of time to come.

Poderi Boscarelli - Famiglia De Ferrari Corradi

Boscarelli is a tiny estate, which gives the family total control over every part, and means they’ve been able to create wines of real individual character. Owner Luca works alongside celebrated winemaking consultant Maurizio Castelli, and his brother Nicolo is responsible for the vineyards. Nicolo, who lives on site, is hugely charismatic, and every time we meet him his facial hair has changed. What remains constant however is the quality of the wines from one of Montepulciano’s greatest names.
