2004 Barbera d'alba DOC, Campolive, Paitin, Piedmont
The fruit comes from their 1.2 ha vineyard in Neive, where the soil is ‘white’, a chalky clay, which gives a deep colour and more pronounced spicy notes than one would usually expect to find in a barbera. Very dense in texture, with complex flavours.
